Starting automated emails on a pre-existing form

I’ve been manually managing the email responses for a form sheet of about 400 names. I’ve installed MailMeteor to take over but I’m cautious of setting up the automation in case it attempts to fire an email to the 400+ people already listed.

How can I ensure it will only respond to new form submissions rather than all emails already present in the column?

Hi,

That’s a good point. If you create an automation “On new form response”, it gets triggered only with new form responses. Previous responses won’t receive a new email.

Make sure that you use the “On new form response”. If you select another triggers, they will receive an email :slight_smile:
